Doheny and Nesbitts Doheny & Nesbitts otherwise known in literary and debating cicles as the 'The Doheny & Nesbitt School of Economics'! is situated a few hundred metres from the old Huegenot cemetery on Merrion Row(1693). The ambience and atmosphere of eighteenth century Dublin is very much retained including 'snugs' where one may on any day or evening of the week come upon well-known writers, radio and television personalities, 'legal eagles' etc. The proprietors Tom Mangan and his brother Paul preside over this well known establishment. |
