Hotels are operated under Bord Fáilte's star classification system.With 5 stars rated as the most luxurious hotels with the utmost standards of service and comfort , and 1 star being the simplest with a satisfactory standard that is necessary for a relaxed and comfortable stay.

Guesthouses

Guesthouses in Dublin range from Georgian and Victorian to modern family homes, all of them with the same relaxed informal atmosphere and personal attention. Many premises provide dinner and all comply with statutory registration regulations.

Budget Accomodation

Hostels are usually privatly owned reasonably rated multi-bedded rooms, that usually have cooking facilities. Family rooms and in some hostels, breakfast and evening meals are also avaiable.
