Live and direct is a new night starting in the Thomas House on Thomas Street, Dublin. It takes place every Sunday evening from 7pm - late. In the coming months we plan to bring you a eclectic freestyle mix of new forms of Live music in combination with a range of dj's playing various styles from Soulfunk breaks, hiphop, nu Jazz, broken beat and Indie. Eimear Bradley-Original Irish Songs and Instrumentals
Eimear started playing the violin at the age of seven in her native Belfast, Ireland. After completing her music degree she moved to the North West of England to develop her career both as a teacher and as a performer/writer. 'Come Home', 'Aisling's Lullaby' and 'The Jewelled Sky' are from the set list of her exciting new live project which can be seen and heard later this year. Her newest song 'Stay with me now' will soon will soon be released onto myspace. Eimear is the credited fiddle player on the Sound Track of the new 'Bob The Builder movie 'Built to be Wild'. In 2006 she made an appearance in the movie 'Half Light' alongside Demi Moore which is now out on dvd. She guested on great Northern Irish folk artist, Anthony John-Clarke's latest album and on the Liverpool band 'Hambone''s version of 'Galway Girl'. Eimear's music has received many great reviews from BBC and other Folk radio stations in Ireland and The UK (BBC Radios; Gloucestershire, Lancashire, Manchester and others). Tommy Sands, Lisa Flavelle, Downtown Radio(N.Ire) and Phil Brown at BBC Radio Lancashire and many others have interviewed Eimear about her music career. Most recently 'Aisling's Lullaby' and 'The Jewelled Sky' have been receiving airplay on BBC Radio Ulster with Gerry Anderson and 'Come Home' on BBC Radio Merseyside. Eimear is also represented by 'URBAN TALENT' at Nemesis Acting/Casting Agency in Manchester which was formed by Nigel Martin Smith. She had the lead acting Role in BBC Northern Ireland screen play in 1995, 'Cafe Society' written by Damian Gorman. She was also an actress in BBC's 'Home Truths' and has done Presenting and voice-overs for 'The Drift' BBC radio show (Every Thurs at 9pm-103.9 fm) and other BBC shows. Eimear's demo cd will soon be available via her website at eimearbradley.com. ,
