Dominic Mulvany - a singer-songwriter from Dalkey, Co Dublin - launched his recording career in Ireland in 1981 with a double A-side single, "In the City/Your Smile is on my Mind" on the Kish label: an impressive start which resulted in extensive airplay and very positive reviews. During the 1990s Dominic turned his focus largely to classical piano-playing, becoming a Fellow of the Victoria College of Music, London and playing high profile piano concerts - most notably for President Mary McAleese at the Royal Irish Academy of Music's re-opening of Dagg Hall.
