An Táin Ceili Band
The Táin Ceili Band is based in an area steeped in myth and legend where stories of Finn McCool, Cúchulainn and the Brown Bull of Cooley abound.
The traditional irish music played by the Táin is a mix of regional styles with members emanating from Louth, Meath, Longford, Fermanagh and Tipperary. The tunes played by the band are drawn from a repertoire of older music and reflect the traditional irish musical influences as well as individual musical tastes of the performing artists.
