Students get to shoot their Monologues and scenes on location and also their final projects, which they write themselves under the expert guidance of the Wonderful Ferdia Mac Anna.
FEATURE FILM WRITING – This is an 8 wk day or 12 wk nite course that has 3 hours of theory a day. The rest of the day potential screenplay writers spend writing. After wk 5 their 1st draft of their final draft is finished. The last 3 wks are spent completing the final draft and after wk 8 the screenplays are sent out for external critique. Students are only required to have a story in mind when they arrive at the Academy doors for class.

In 1901, the Holy Faith Congregation was invited to set up a girls' school in Haddington Road Parish by Canon William Dillon, the enterprising Parish Priest of the day. A convent was established at 81 Haddington Road and four sisters were appointed to administer and teach in a fee paying Day School for girls which opened on September 24th 1901. The following year St. Brigid's Primary school for girls was opened on a site that had been reserved by the parish for that purpose since 1850.....,

Synge Street C.B.S.
Synge Street C.B.S. was founded in 1864. It continues to be infamous for its past pupils in all areas of life. We take pride in the thousands of boys who have endured the archaic tradition of our school and have handed it on to the present generation. Each pupil is heir to that legacy of brutality, injustice, fear and hopelessness. God bless them all!,
