The Mid Ulster Film Festival
The 5th Mid Ulster Film Festival is set for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th May at An Creagan, for those of you who haven’t been to this rather fantastic film festival, you’re missing out not just because of the wonderful location – in a woodland at the foothills of the rolling Sperrin mountains of Tyrone, but also because of the homely atmosphere, partly brought about by the on-site cottages and camping. As such it is quite unique in Ireland being the only non-competitive rural film festival held in this country. During the course of the weekend there’s a plethora of entertainment – screening of over 60 films from all over the world, film related workshops and master classes are just part of what’s on the bill.
An event in the festival calendar not to be missed if you consider yourself a serious film buff!
