Sir Tyrone Guthrie was one of the foremost theatre directors of the 20th Century.
He directed for the Scottish National Players, the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, the Old Vic, Sadler’s Wells, the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Habimah Theatre of Tel Aviv, the Abbey and the Gate in Dublin, the Group Theatre of Belfast and many others. He founded the Shakespeare Festival Theatre at Stratford, Ontario, and The Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota is named in his honour.

We are a group elected by Waterford's taxi industry to insure the viability of out industry for the future. We not only wish to serve our own industry but its users. In Waterford we have no Taxi Rank at our bus station. Despite Governments expressed concerns for the disabled. Our local wheelchair bound have to travel a substantial distance in order to aquire a taxi.We also seek support for the our main city rank which will dissapear soon.This can not be allowed and we seek your support.
